Question about Sony PlayStation 2 Slimline Console
You could have some lint of hair stuck under the disc drive hub. look at closely to see and get it out.
The best thing is to know that the Slim laser has a plastic lens, and it will melt. Do not leave a disc in the powered up PS2 when your not playig with it. If you leave it running with a disc in the system and it is not reading the disc well, over time the Laser will heat up and melt the lens. If you posted this, how do you not have way of getting parts online.
Go to www.playstationclinic.com and call them to ask for parts you need, they will send them to you at a very reasonable price.
