Question about Panasonic PT-43LC14 43" Rear Projection HDTV

Hi there, What I have is Panasonic PT-43LC14 that won't turn on (no vedio and no audio). The power button only blinks green and eventually turns back to red.

Please help.

    Red Light on Power Button Blinks , Turns Green when I click the Power button but goes back to Blinking after a short time. No Picture , No Sound!

I found the problem with my set! I pulled out the lamp to inspect and low and behold the filiment was burned out. Just ordered a new lamp to replace it. That should fix it.Very easy to pull the lamp .

Which light is blinking yellow/orange and can you count how many blinks in 5 seconds its doing and let me know as thats an error indicator.

Try checking your lamp door. I have seen a few of these that you need to really wrench that screw down. Let us know.

How do i reset lamp hour meter

Turn On tv.
While pressing the VOL- button on the projection display, hold down the PIP or SPLIT button on the remote control simultaneously for more than 5 seconds.
This will reset lamp timer in Panasonic PT-43LC14
When the lamp time reset procedure is complete, the Lamp Time is Reset screen will appear.

The TV shutdown error code can help you with this problem. If the power led flashes green for 2 Min's then red. The Lamp led should flash red 1-2-3 or 4 time every 5 Min's. These are error codes that may point you in the right direction to you problem.

Tv won't turn on

I did a 2nd replacement with an original Panasonic TY-LA1000 Lamp, now my TV works just llike new.

The tv wont turn on

hello 2 blinks on this tv means you have this issue below
2 blinks 5 secs you have your lamp cover open

check for this

High def tv: We replaced the lamp unit, but don't know how to reset hour meter

turn the TV power on the projection display or remote control.while pressing the volume button on the projection display hold down the PIP or split button on the remote control simultaneoulsy for more than 5 seconds.
