Question about HP LaserJet 1020 Printer

How can I see how much toner/ink is left over?

Hi. I would like to know where I can look to see how much toner/ink is left over? My printer won't print. The power on light and the orange one just above it both flicker, but nothing prints. The orange light has an exclamation mark (!) on it. I think it may be because my toner/ink is low or empty. Thanks

Hp laserjet p3015 not printing

The printer will have a message in the screen saying roughly how many pages are left in the toner cartridge if the toner is running low. Try printing a "configuration page" by pressing "ok", arrow down to "information", arrow down to " print configuration page", then press "ok". If this page prints you still have toner left.

try to shake the toner after removing it if there is still remaining ink left. If non, replace the toner to its nearest Printer provider outlet

Ink on left hand side of page very faint

Hi,
First make sure that the print cartridge has enough toner. If the toner is OK, it is most likely be due to dust/ toner dust accumulation at the laser reflecting mirrors inside the printer, which partially blocks laser beams and results in faint print. Therefore the printer requires cleaning/ servicing by a professional.

Hope it helps! Good Luck!

My Samsung ML - 191x 252x Series printer has a red light, does that mean I need to replace the toner cartridge? And if so, do I have to do it immediately, or does it still have some ink left?

Will not print with one toner out of ink?

Even though you might not need the toner that is empty for the image you are currently trying to print, it will not allow you too! i am not a big fan of these printers. All four colors must have ink/toner left.

Ink cartridge stuck on left side in cradle and will not release

Take the cradle out of the printer, using a flat blade screwdriver prise up on the left corner of the toner cartridge and pull toner cartridge from the right hand side.

the problem is cause when the toner cartridge in install incorrectly, inserting at an angle to the leftside first and so the toner trap door does not rotate.

The correct way, is to place the cartidge on the cradle and press from the centre down on the toner body.
