Try the Wii "RESET". Here's how: 1. Unplug the Wii for at least 5 minutes. 2. Plug it back in.

Xbox blew after storm

If you have a friend with an Xbox 360 then ask to borrow his power cord to see if it's just your cord that took the damage. If it still doesn't work then your basically in the hurt bag.

Wii wont turn on, nothing had a lightning storm last night and now nothing

Try replacing the power cable, many times when there is a power surge and you do not have a surge protector it will burn out the transformer on the power cord. If you replace it and still nothing, most likely your Wii has been burned out by a power surge.

We had a storm and now the wii will not even turn on.

Was the Wii running while the storm was going on? Was it a lightning storm? If the answer is yes to eaither one of these then most likely there was a power surge and the power supply and / or motherboard has been damaged

Fried Wii

Unplug the power supply from the wii and the wall. You must unplug it from both. Wait a full 5 min. and then plug it into the wii then the wall. This resets the power supply. 9 times out of 10 this is all you have to do.
