Question about Toshiba 32D46 32" TV
I bought my 32 inch Toshiba at BestBuy around 2 years ago or a bit less. It was working perfectly for most of that time until about 2 months these annoying white lines formed near the top of the screen. They sort of look like interference or something and for awhile that is what I thought was going on.
I dealt with the white lines by changing the viewing mode to the widescreen mode which is not always great but at least it got rid of the white lines.
About a month ago I came home and tried to turn on the TV and could not. I tried everything, changing batteries with the remote, changing where I had it plugged in etc with no luck. A week later I just thought I would try and turn it on for the hell of it and what do you know? It turned on! I still had those dammed white lines but the TV turned on and off and back on with no problems...
A week ago Bam! The same problem and I cannot turn the TV back on. I cannot believe a TV would last for less than 2 years in a safe enviroment. It is not like I have the TV outside or anything. I have always taken good care of the TV and there has never been any problems at all with humididy or moisture or over heating.
I am reading hjere that many people are having these same problems with this model and I would like to suggest that we get together and contact Toshibe. I believe this should be recalled because there is something faulty with either parts or design.
I have the same problem with the same TV from Tosiba. I think Tosiba know about it but did nothing to repair it but sold millions of the same TV and Made good money. I think we all should soin togather and file a class action lawsuts against the company. They must fix the TV or pay our money back plus pay for our pain and suffering. There are many lawfirm will take this case and get paid from proceed. Ray@raykraan.us
