Question about HP 610 Color Copier
The power outages shouldn't case many problems but is not recommended due to the shut down sequence. The cause would be more likely to be power surges, incorrect voltages, bad grounding etc. Not sure what the conditions are there. I take it the copier never comes into the 'ready' state. The place I use for board level repair is http://www.hytecrepair.com/ in Florida. They sell repaired boards, cross ship, and have excellent tech support. Since this is an older machine it might be hard to find NEW PCB's. Another place to try is http://www.ambry.com/ I have only purchaced a few parts from them so I don't know if they carry any discontinued parts. Let me know if you have any more details. It could be caused vy many, many things and I don't want to steer you in the wrong direction. MediaMan85@mchsi.com , please include "FixYa" in the subject line.
