You'll need to plug it into the Analog Output; you can see a general picture of the back of a computer here. The key is that the icon next to the Analog Output port, with concentric circles and the arrow going out, is the same on every computer, so that's what you need to look for.

Where and how to wire motherboard intel 775

You should be able to get the pin outs and connector specifications from the HP website for that workstation model. Go to the service manual and it will have detailed information on what you need.

Putting wires back on motherboard

Which type of wire's are they? If you are talking about mobo onboard speaker and front led cables. It should be written on motherboard itself. You need to take it to bright light and try to find out. If it is speaker cables it should be in spkr word. If iti s front LED then it should be colour coding on motherboard. Good luck with that.

I dropped one of the speakers and now can't get audio. When I push power button, the light dowsn't come on the speaker. What to do?

I am afraid you may have broken the speaker when you dropped it. Usually the speakers are sealed and cannot be repaired. Maybe you should buy some new ones.

Simply no sound from PC

Check if you have plugged in the stereo pin to the right port on the PC.
Open sound control (in control panel) and check if the both speaker(main volume) and the wave volume sliders are not set to the lowest.

Hp pavilion a330

the simplest solution maybe just so simple... just a suggestion try unpluging the power connector to the motherboard then just press the power button to clear and shorted circuit and grounds then replug the motherboard power... if still no power try a new power supply.... better buy a new one than more parts will be damaged if you got a broken power supply.... how to check your power supply??? plug the power cord then use a hair pin to plug the red wire (wire in the middle) the just plug the other end to any black wire... if the fan of you power supply works your power supply still good to go... use some tester for the voltage values of wires...

Diagram to install new motherboard

If you are putting in a new motherboard, the wiring may be different from your old one anyway. It's an easy project wiring up the board, just follow instructions in the manual and you will see the connectors on the wires are labelled HDD LED, POWER etc, so just look in the manual. If no manual find the make of mobo and come back.
