You'll need to plug it into the Analog Output; you can see a general picture of the back of a computer here. The key is that the icon next to the Analog Output port, with concentric circles and the arrow going out, is the same on every computer, so that's what you need to look for.

Where and how to wire motherboard intel 775

You should be able to get the pin outs and connector specifications from the HP website for that workstation model. Go to the service manual and it will have detailed information on what you need.

My speakers dont work ,so I dont know if the speaker connector should be connected to motherboard, because it is not.

Try plugging in headphones and see if you can hear anything, if not, it's a driver or motherboard problem. Update to the latest drivers. If that fails, buy a new sound card for around 20 bucks at local BestBuy or online. If this is a desktop, check the back of the PC for a second set of input slots. They are usually color coded and marked with symbols indicating what goes where (not to insult your intelligence in any way).

Hello Phenom, Hi.... to properly run/test a motherboard, you need to make sure this parts are good with no doubt functioning. 1. the power supply, 2. Memory, 3. keyboard, 4. Processor with FAN 5. PC speaker(built on-board or the thumb speaker) and 6. monitor How to test. First remove all motherboard connections. Now reconnect the following. 1. make sure that the power supply 20/24 pin is connected properly to the motherboard (and please test this power supply before making connections. To test independently short green wire to ground and plug the unit. you should see the fan spin) 2. make sure that the 4 pin 12volt power connector is also plug in nice and tight. 3. clean the memory slot using a clean paint brush and the module (DDR/2) terminals (the contacts) using an eraser, 4. connect the keyboard, 5. make sure there is a PC speaker connected. 6. connect the power switch of the front panel, 7. Connect a monitor on the VGA port 8. Power on the PC. 8. Look at the keyboard lights 3 LED momentarily. num lock + caps lock + scroll lock and after several seconds 1 LED light, num lock only. If you reach this part you should also hear a beep. then the POST will appear. If you don't reach this part, start again from the top. do this several times. Still no response? you motherboard is bad.

I have an emachine t3104 and upgraded the memory the wires from the front of the case became un attached now I dont know where they connect on the motherboard they are black and whitebbgreen and white and...

That model has a MSI K8MM-V (MS-7142-010) motherboard. Mostly likely you knocked some of the computer case wire connectors off the motherboard. These connectors usually include things like the case speaker, indicator for your hard drive operating, etc.

You may want to do a websearch for the manual, which will show a detailed breakdown of these wire connections and how to reinstall them.

Simply no sound from PC

Check if you have plugged in the stereo pin to the right port on the PC.
Open sound control (in control panel) and check if the both speaker(main volume) and the wave volume sliders are not set to the lowest.

Dont know where an item should go

This is an internal speaker. Find the speaker pins on the mother board. Should be somewhat close to the front panel connections.
