Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console
I recently purchased an Optoma hd65 projector to run my xbox 360 console. Games will play in 1080 resolution, but dvd's only play back at 420 x 60 resolution. I read elsewhere that there is some kind of default setting that will not allow 1080 resolution playback unless you purchase the hd dvd drive or play through a VGA cord. I just wanted to know if this advice is accurate, or is there simply a setting I need to change.
The 360 will upconvert DVDs to 1080P only through a VGA cable or an HDMI cable.
