Question about Pioneer VSX-D511 Receiver

Pioneer VSX-D511 5.1 Channels reciever

Hi, .. i have this problem. When my reciever is on, it sometimes turn the volume up or down. like somebody has the remote and playing with me. sometimes it takes hours before it does it, and sometimes only a few minutes.
i turns it self up to max volume . 
anyone experienced the same problem ?

SOURCE: Connecting a sub-woofer to Pioneer VSX-453 surround reciever

connect to same terminals as front speakers, this will also cause reduced volume from front speakers. (as per owners manual)

I've had the same problem for over a month and have yet to find the time to get to it. However, I there may be a fuse on the circuit board that needs to be replace. That's just my guess.

Hope it's the solution.

Tell us about the speakers. Maybe they're not compatible.

As far as what to expect to hear from surrounds, that depends on the sound engineering.

Test tones for speaker setup will get it all dialed in. Page 17.

Overload Problem

If your rec'vr worked with the original front and rear speakers, the new speakers are either defective or ar the wrong impedance.
Also, I find this confusing: "I connected the wiring for 1 of the front speakers to the connection on the rear of the receiver". This may indicate wrong wiring connection. Make sure you have connected the speakers properly

I got the same issue. But, I go ahead hooked it up two banana plugs on teh VCR outlet. It works fine on my Cerwin Vega Sub.
