Try uninstalling the mouse and keyboard id device manager. they should get picked up when u reboot. You can always re install them.you may have multiple instalations of the same hardware, and need to remove the old ones if you haven't, good luck

1.)When you buy new batteries from the market you nrmally don't check the manufacturing date on the cover pack or at the bottom of the battery. This is where the retailers take you for a ride. Always ask for fresh stock when buying batteries.
2.)Check for loose contact or oxidation or corrosion of battery terminals in the chamber where batteries are installed. In case these are cordless devices, make sure nothing is obstructing the keyboard's line of sight with the infra red transceiver installed on your table top.
3.) If it is within the warranty period, get it exchanged for a new one immediately. No vendor can refuse that.

Hope this helped.

(TIP: never leave batteries inside any gadget when its not going to be used for over a week. Example if you folks are going on a holiday, then remove batteries from gadgets like mouse, keyboard, etc. i.e. gadgets tht you are going to leave behind. This causes the batteries to leak & damage your precious gadgets, at times beyond repair)

All in one computer and mouse and keyboard are not responding.

Check your keyboard is working or not by accessing your BIOS by pressing del or Esc or F12 (usually) or whatever your boot up screen says. If your keyboard works there then the problem lies in the operating system. If still your keyboard doesn't respond then replace the keyboard.

only if keyboard work, you can fix mouse opearting system problems.

For windows Vista & 7, expand "Mice & other point devices".right click on Microsoft Ps/2 mouse" select uninstall and restart the system. If your mouse is still working the system will automatically installed the mouse driver. And your mouse will work again.

Otherwise get a new mouse.

Note: Check you have wrongly insert the mouse 7 keyboard port at the back too.

Remember : Green for Mouse
                   Purple blue for keyboard

Wireless mouse and keyboard issues

If you have both sets of keyboard and mouse plugged in, turn off the computer and remove the old mouse and plug in the new mouse. Reboot and if necessary use the keyboard to login. Once windows is loaded let it detect the new mouse and then shut down again. Take out the old keyboard and reboot. You should now be able to use both new pieces without problems.

Mikomi optical mouse lights up but does not work

Uninstall the Software Driver then restart Windows. Windows Will re - detect the mouse and you will have to reinstall the Driver software for the wireless mouse. Or after uninstalling the Drivers, Remove the USB receiver and reisntall the software first then plug in the receiver then restart Windows. Check the battery for the mouse as well.

Mikomi ak-808u keyboard

When you press your power button your system goes to sleep mode as per your system settings. To awake your system just press any key or 'Awake Key' (if its present on your keyboard), then your system will be back. No need to wait.

Thanks
