Make sure crease care has not been selected, check outlet pipe and pump for blockage.

My candy wasing machine won't rinse & is holding water

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

Sorry but I do not know your particular machine BUT I would suggest as a first step that you clean the drain motor lint tray/filter. So many 'faults' are caused by blocked filters. The motor is unable to drain all of the water in the allotted time.
Here are my complete, general pre-typed guidance notes for checking filters and motors ;-0)
If you are unsure where the filter is, it is often behind the front lower (kick) panel (or in some machines at the rear in an awkward position!) and held in by a round cover/knob.

It's surprising what people have found in theirs! It is always worthwhile checking it on a regular basis.
Now- whilst the filter is removed it is normally possible to see the drain motor and ensure it is not jammed by a foreign object such as a needle or a toothpick. It should be able to be turned by hand/finger- the power IS OFF!
At this point it is also possible to test if the motor works. No clothes or water in the machine, select a spin cycle and put the power back on. You should be able to see the motor turning at some point, possibly straight away. If it doesn't work then the motor is malfunctioning!

Hope the filter is the problem and good luck!

Hi- I am retired Englishman living in France!

I would suspect the lint tray/filter- it could be blocked. So many problems are caused by this- machines stop, some show error message, some do not!

I'm sorry but I do not know your particular machine- whether it is front or top loader. For front loaders it is found behind the front lower panel- the filter could be in a similar place for top loaders.
I would check and clean it anyway - and regularly.

Hope this is the cause,

Wasing machine stopped begore end of spin cycle half full of water

I dont know what type of machine you have.
It sounds like the pump is the cause of the problem,it has stopped pumping the water.its probably blocked with debris.

Hi I have a auarius wma37 extra washing machine, It washes fine but just stops when it gets to rinse and spin. the drum drains to safe and the door will open. if I wait and change program to just rinse and...

Hi confused...It could be that your cold water inlet valve is faulty. Many machines will only rinse with cold water...No cold water...No rinse! Check that the machine actually is filling on the rinse setting. An inlet valve in not a big job....Nomess

I have had aqarius a hotpoint aqarius 1000 wm62p

It has a wide variety of wash programmes for white cotton, colourfast cotton, polyester, non-colourfast cotton, wool blends and wool itself. These standard programmes take from an hour and a quarter to three-quarters of an hour to complete.
There is also a quick wash programme lasting just under half an hour for lightly soiled items and a pre wash soak for heavily soiled items. The machine has four buttons providing extra facilities that can be set independently of the main wash programmes to give you a more comprehensive range of settings.
There is a rinse hold button, which I find extremely useful. When set this holds the clothes in the final rinse water until you are ready to unload the machine. You then release the button, let the machine go through the final spin and then you can unload the machine. It means that you don’t leave damp washing in the machine for the time between the cycle finishing and you unloading the machine, which would make for very creased clothes. There is also a button to depress if you want to use the super rinse facility. This merely increases the volume of water in each rinse so that the clothes are rinsed more fully. I have never used this particular facility, as the ordinary rinses are fine for my needs.
The next button allows for a slow spin. I find that this one is really useful for the items that I need to iron as it means that they don’t come out of the washing machine as creased as they normally would on a faster spin. The only problem with this is of course that the clothes are not as dry as they would otherwise have been. The final button is used to set the economy wash feature. This means that the washing machine’s own heating system is not used and the wash is done with the water at the temperature entering the machine from your hot and cold water tanks. This of course means a cooler wash so it’s only suitable for lightly soiled items.
The door remains locked during the wash programmes so that it cannot be opened accidentally and it can be locked when not in use too if you have small children who might get into mischief! The other big selling point for this particular model is that it gauges the size of the load and uses the correct amount of water needed eliminating the need for the half-wash programme. This also means that it is both water and energy efficient

Dirt patches sticking onto washing

You should use a warm water wash for dirty clothes with a warm rinse. Cold water causes more soap scum because it doesn't totally dissolve in cold water.

Toward the end of a wasing cycle there is a tremendous squeaking noise. What might that be? I thougth maybe the pump but then when it was draining the soapy water it would happen too. I noticed it last...

If it only happens when it is draining then there is a problem with the pump, could be something fast in it, remove pump and check., or if it is there all the time then it is to do with the motor or the drum..
Remove belt and see if the noise is still there, if it is then it is your motor'
Plz rate this solution.
