Door will not open after washing cycle ends on SamsungWF8704RSW washing machine

If water still in machine saftey feature will not let door open. Machine may have been over filled with washing, or filters may need cleaning, or both. Set the machine to do another spin cycle, sometimes needs to beredone several times. Clean your filter in normal way but be careful as water in drum could drain through filter.

Why will my machine not let in hot water?

Boy! That Machine sure told you Off! LOL...I hope you are OK and you did not get burn! Yes there is a separate (and Less expensive) Hot Water Inlet valve. BEFORE changing it Or any part on a washing machine be sure that A) Power is disconnected. and B) the water source is shut off. You may have to "bleed" out the Pressurized water by removing the filter or screen. Check your owners manual for the location.

After the cycle is complete our Whirlpool Duet Front loader washer leaves liquid detergent in the wash tub and the dispenser. Please let me know your thoughts? Thank you.

it might be that one of your water valves have gone or the filters are blocked on the water inlets( try this first turn your water valves off at the the tap end take the cold pipe off at the back of your machine and there are little gorse filters in the pipe or water valve take them out and clean put back do the same to the hot and try the machine on a wash let me know if this has helped

What does error code 2 means on proline washing machine

With mine when i had the error 2 code, it was money in the filter.
Switch machine off
I had to get a baking tray and a towel, i pu tthe baking tray under the filter corner, then slowly unscrew the filter (bottom right front of machine) then let water slowy trickle into baking tray and then empty, and repeat until water stops took about 20 mins. Of course you could do it quicker if you want to flood your kitchen. :)
Then emptied the filter, then ran spin only until end. worked fine after this.

Put my washing on at a 60 degree wash for 1 hour 40 mins. Went back to machine several hours later, there was tiny amount of water on floor and machine had water in it but the wash had not progressed any...

Sounds like a blockage perhaps the filter needs cleaning or pump blades jammed...If its a Hotpoint then filter is middle of sump hose connected to the drum....

Water overflowing and not cutting off.

The water overflowing problem could be one of three possible problems.
Water fill valve
Pressure level switch
Hose coming from the drum to the pressure switch.
Here is an easy way to check all three.
While the machine is on with water filling up quickly unplug. If water is still going in then replace the water filler valve. (In 20 years i only seen this happen once!)
Open the top panel so you can get to the water level switch. There will be a hose hookup to it.
Make sure there is water in the drum in this test. Disconnect the hose from the level switch. (you can turn off machine for this test) Blow thru the hose and notice if you hear bubbles going in the drum/water. If you do then good. If you dont then the problem was the hose came off the drum. Make sure it is securely attached because sometimes when it spins it might come off. If you do hear bubbles then blow again, pinch hose. Then reconnect to the pressure switch. You create air to the pressure switch. It should now shut the water off at the lowest setting. if it still doesnt shut off replace the pressure level switch. Sometimes i do this trick and it starts working.

this is alot of info, if you need clarifying let me know, i am slowly getting better explaining but will get better later thanks hope this was helpful

Will not pump water out

My grandmother had the same problem. Lets see if it's the same one. Maybe, your water filter is clogged. Washing machines have a water filter right before the water comes out. Try cheking that out, maybe it's clogged by hair or something like that.

Washing machine it shuts down water filling cycle

First thing to check is the filter,
DISCONNECT power
open the bottom pane (3 screws on bottom front lip)
in the cent is a large removable filter ,
set a pan or rags under it ,there will be water.
clean out any debris an be sure the pump impellers move freely.
let me know if that fixes it.
