The gear oil is the final drive oil - on the back wheel it's the hub assembly that the drive shaft ties into. There's a bolt at the top of it for filling and one at the bottom to drain. You should drive the bike a little to warm the oil, then you can drain the oil through that lower plug. I usually open the filler one on top while draining and I pour some fresh gear oil in to kind of flush it. Then install and tighten the drain plug. Fill with fresh oil right to the top of the filler plug. Some drain plugs are magnetic to pickup metal debris (normal) so clean that off when you have it out.

Could be the coil. Also could be several other things. Download a shop manual and diagnose it.

SOURCE: I have a 2002 VStar classic 650 problem with high speed vibration

I would guess that the tires need balancing. There is a product you can buy that is a bunch of little BB's you put in the tire that will balance it. I have not used it so I would recommend taking your bike to a tire shop and have them balace it for you.

I need to know what kind of real end oil should i use on my 2007 yamaha vstar classic 650

For the final drive oil you can use any 80/90 Hypoid gear oil. If you choose a synthetic Hypoid gear oil your rear end will run cooler. One quart of oil is enough for 4 or 5 rear end oil changes. Because the rear ends are so expensive (around $1000), I change my rear end oil every other engine oil change.

How to service drive shaft on yamaha 650 vstar

Remove the drain plug at the bottom of the rear hub ( have oil pan ready in place so oil doesn't drip on back tire. Remove the bolt on the side of that hub unit then replace the drain plug. Fill the hub unit with a hypoid gear oil (80w90) to the top of bolt hole. Then replace bolt. Do this every 3000 miles.

I have a yamaha 650 vstar 2002 my drive train broke and they say i need a yoke gear which i cant find under 400.00

Look and advertize for a bike to buy, with a blown engine or wrecked front end. And have parts left over for half the cost!
