Question about Panasonic ET-LA702 Projector Lamp for PT-L501X, PT-L511X, PT-L701
Through both video inputs (svideo and composite) the colour is bad, blacks/dark images are blue and there are horizontal lines through this blue, if the contrast and brightness are turned up the blue fades but it makes the picture too bright to watch, the scoruce is a sky box with good signal from scart to svid or scart to composite, the lamp is showing only 1702 hrs use (it did have a new bulb recently but dont recall if the lamp timer in the menu sytem reset itself at this point?) the projector has been sited in the same position in a smoke/dust free environment since purchased.
I am stumped, please let me know if you can help..
Can you connect a computer (vga) signal to this projector? I'd like to know what your "white" computer screen does on the projector....example, Excel spreadsheet....
I am leaning towards these problems, a bad video card...or worse delamination of one of your LCD panels and possible polarizer burn in the optical engine.

If the problem is what I describe as a blue haze over the entire image projected, I was told this is a defect in the cable - we have a Dell Video Projector 2300 - and it takes only a dell VGA cable.
So, the problem is in the cable - solution is replace cable.
