Question about Frigidaire Dryers
I am trying to find a replacement spring/shock for my dryer but I don't the part number. This spring is the one that is hooking onto the dryer drum to the frame. There are I think 4 on top and 4 on bottom suspending the dryer drum to the frame of the dryer. The spring is about 8 inches long and 3/4" in diameter made of heavy gauge steel. I substituted it with a spring of the same size from Home Depot (not made for dryers) but it only lasted a year. I would rather get an OEM part so that it won't break so quickly. Any idea what the part number is and where to buy one? Thanks in advance.
There are no "suspension shocks/springs" on a dryer, those are usually on your washer. here is hte par number for he washer spring 134144700(which is about 8 inches long and 3/4" in diameter made of heavy gauge steel) youll need (2) and heres the suspension shock absorber number 134564200 its a set of 2, there shold only be 2 on your machine.
