Question about Lexmark X4550 InkJet Printer
I just bought the printer & it's reading clear carrier jam, then when pressed it slides over to the left fast & it makes a clunk noise. It's also reading, Right cartridge incorrect even though no cartridges has been inserted. I am stumped, does any1 know how to fix this problem??
If your printer is brand new, just out of the box, than repack the printer back in the box and march it right back to where you purchased it from. Your printer is classed under manufacturer criteria as DOA, which means dead on arrival. It is nothing you are doing, the printer is simply faulty and needs to be returned to your supplier for exchange. It happens sometimes and I am sorry you are on the receiving end.
To be more technical about it, from what you are saying it sounds as though you have a faulty print mechinism. This is the central core part of the printer and I have seen this issue on many occasions.
