Are these SATA driver that you are talking about because this can be a normal screen when the system is trying to load the SATA raid or ATA raid bios and does not see the drives. Either way the bigger question would be have you changed anything on the system?

Bios Does not need a hard drive to be "installed". The bios is located on a ROM chip built onto the motherboard.

Are there any hard drives plugged into the motherboard and more specifically what is your problem?

If you are looking at Device Manager, the computer must be working to some degree. Since there are no drives on the SATA controller, you're probably using an IDE drive and don't need the SATA controller anyway. Disable it in the BIOS. And get more memory.

Log on to Lenovo.com and download the drivers and install instructions. It's pretty easy. Just DO NOT stop it once you start it. Let it run to completion. If you stop it, you will corrupt your BIOS and your system will not start. So, just let it run to completion.

First of all to say....that your second assumption may be the right-one. Please contact either your Processor Vendor or your Motherboard Vendor to check your Motherboard or your Processor's compatibility to each other. If this combination goes right......then there may be problem of correct assembling. Please check all the connections before starting your computer. We are not able to give you just the proper solution because we are assuming some possibilities as we are helping you from far away.

If you speaking sofware realted and it is a generic computer, then no. You would have to wipe out the drive, reinstall windows, do all updates and locate, download and install all drivers.

BIOS PROBLEM

The file you downloaded should have provided instructions for its use wither in a redme file or on the page it was downloaded from. There are several different ways for flashing the BIOS. Many still require booting from a DOS disk and using a DOS-based flash utility to perform the update. Others are Windows executable files that can flash the BIOS directly without having to start a reduced-functionality environment, but they require Administrative access to the computer to perform the update.

If what you downloaded was a Zip file, there should be instructions included with it.

You also want to make sure that it the the correct BIOS you are flashing. If it is not the correct version, you risk permanent damage to your computer.

Unable to Acces BIOS on IBM Netvista 607931u w/ Phoenix ROM BIOS

When the IBM Setup Utility program prompt is displayed, quickly press F1.
The prompt is displayed for only a short time.
if you dont see the prompt, tap F1 repeatedly as the computer starts. If it says "starting windows" you've let it go too far and will have to restart again and repeat the process to get into the bios

My computer went back to older clock date as 1610

try starting your computer in safe mode and see if you can do anything productive there, like scanning for viruses or spyware. also check if you can do the following:
CTRL+ALT+DEL (open task manager)
goto Start>Run>Regedit (open registry editor)
goto Start>Control Panel>Display>Properties (change display settings)
right click on clock at tray and change the current time to correct settings

if you cannot do any of these activities, then your computer may probably been compromised by a virus or malware.
