Hi.
Have you set your departments or PLUs to use both taxes?

Hmm. The 5004 code is for tax on tax, so that looks right. I have never tried to setup tax on tax before, so I'm at a loss like you. I don't have one of these machines to play with, so I can't try combinations on the register itself. I have noticed that you must use 0225,0325, 0425 when using tax on tax, so maybe your 0125 is the problem. Try using shift 2 and 3 instead of shift 1 and 2, then set a dept/PLU to use shift 2 and 3 and see what happens. Otherwise, try asking your question at www.smarka.com in the cash register and calculator forum under tech help. they are mainly US/Canada techs, so they may have more info on it.

CANNOT PROGRAMME THE VAT AMOUNT INTO CASIO TE 2000

Hi.
Has it had the system options set for tax? Was it calculating previously? Usually you just need to change the rate when you have a tax increase.

How to program tax rate for te-2200

Hi. If you bought it new then your dealer should have set all of the system options for you so it is strange that the tax is not programmed. Normally you would only need to set the rate when your tax rate changes. Has it been calculating tax at all? Did it come from your dealer with a standard program in it?

How to program the 2 taxes federal 5% and Quebec provincial 7.5

Hi.
It seems to be weird for this model.

Try this:

Turn key to program.
Now press the tax shift button to apply to a department (T/S1 for tax 1, T/S2 for tax 2, or T/S1 then T/S2 for both taxes).
Now press the department that you want to set with that tax.
Do the above for each department button.
Press SUBTOTAL to finish.

That will set only the tax you want to each department. If it still calculates incorrectly, then you have the rate set to the wrong amount.
