My Uniflame grill may have a clog somewhere through the fuel delivery system, or at the the tank connection, how would I be able to find the culprit?

Hi boltbucrayfa...
I think your culprit is the gas regulator valve...
If it is not working properly then it will not deliver the proper amount of gas to the burners.
Check all your burners to make sure they are not plugged...
The when you are outside away from Flames and ignition sources.
Remove the hose from the grill...open the gas to the grill (you have the hose off the grill) and listen to the flow of gas...if it is very low then there is your problem.
You can shut off the flow of gas, then tap the gas regulator on the sides, top and bottom lightly with a hammer and then turn back on the gas to see if the gas flow increased...if it did, then shut off the gas and rehook up the gas line to the grill..and your good to go grilling again.
Some gas regulators have an adjustment under the removable cap.
If the gas flow did not increase, the replace the gas regulator

NEW Uniflame LP Model GBC1134W Gas Grill won't go over 300o in an hour? What is wrong?

The problem may lie with the grill's regulator and the way the tank was turned ON.

To solve this problem, do the following:

1. Turn the gas tank valve OFF and disconnect the hose from the tank.

2. Wait 5 minutes and reconnect the hose to the tank.

3. Open the tank valve VERY, VERY SLOWLY (Slow motion, slow).

4. Once the tank valve is fully open, light the burner farthest from the tank first and set the burner
control knob on HIGH. Does the flame height look correct for being set on HIGH? If so, light
the remaining burners the same way. Do all the burner flames look correct? If so, you solved
the problem. Remember, to always open the tank valve Very, Very Slowly.

If that didn't solve the problem, you will need to replace the grill's Hose/Regulator Assembly. It runs about $30.00 at any home center or hardware store that sells grills & accessories. If you replace it, turn the tank valve ON Very, Very Slowly.

Hope this helped you to troubleshoot and solve the problem. Happy Grilling.

Low flame on burners

To solve this problem, Randy, first be sure you have adequate gas in the tank. If that checks out OK, do the following:

The flame is not very strong. I have propane.

If the grill lights, but the flames are low, try replacing the hose and regulator.

How to i take off my regulator on my blue ember bbq. FG50069 model clockwise or counter ?

The regulator is part of the Regulator/Hose Assembly. You won't be able to separate the regulator from the hose. You have to remove the whole assembly by turning the coupling connection at the grill head counterclockwise. I assume you won't to replace the regulator. If that's the case, you will have to purchase the whole regulator/hose assembly. They are not expensive and can be found at any home center or hardware store that sells gas grills and accessories. Take your old one with you for comparison.

Hope this helped you and Happy Grilling!!

I CHANGED THE PROPANE TANK AND THE GAS DOESN'T SEEM TO BE REACHING THE GRILL, i EVEN TOOK THE TANK BACK AND EXCHANGED IT FOR ANOTHER ONE, BUT IT DOESN'T SEEM TO WORK. CHECKED TO MAKE SURE THE LINES ARE...

Turn the tank valve OFF. Disconnect the hose from the tank and wait 5 minutes. Reconnect the hose to the tank and turn the tank valve On VERY, VERY SLOWLY (Slow Motion, slow). Once the tank valve is fully open, light the burner and turn it to the highest setting. Do the flames appear to be correct for the highest setting? If so, you've solved the problem. Just remember to always turn the tank ON VERY, VERY SLOWLY.

If that didn't solve your problem, the grills regulator is permanently locked up. You will need to replace the hose/regulator assembly. You can purchase one at any hardware or home center store that sells gas grills. Take the old one with you for comparison purposes.

Hope that solved your problem and Happy Grilling!!

Cannot adjust flame

This could be a regulator or manifold issue. If the unit has a side burner check to see if it is burning at a correct flame height. If it is then the regulator is not the problem there is an issue with the manifold. For further assistance please get the model number and call Uniflame at 1-800-732-1142 we are here 7 days a week to help.

had same problem- noticed regulator iced up. received new regulator under warranty from uniflame. still same problem. tapped on regulator and started to work better but should not have to do that. maybe regulators are defective, but not a grill doctor.
