We bought this beauty used, $400 for the W/D pair ~4 yrs old. First run attempt, after loading the laundry and all modes automatically set for perm press, the drum would slowly turn for ~20 sec and stop. Then rotate again and stop. After about 5 minutes, "E10" in the display...forgot to turn on the H & C water so after I connected the new stainless steel hoses with water on, E10 gone! Washed great!

E10 means that your cold water is coming in too slow, disconnect the cold water hose and check to see if the screen on your washing machine is clogged. If the screen is clean and the hose has good pressure then you will need to replace the water valve on your machine--- this is the piece that the hoses directly connect to.

Tips for a great answer:
Thank you for your inquiry, Barbara Constable!
I see that your Electrolux washer is displaying an "E10" error code. "E10" stands for fill time too long you may want to check the hoses to make sure they are not restricted or kinked this could cause slow fill within your washer. If the hoses look to be in good shape then I would suggest it could be a faulty sensor or control panel. You could additionally reset your washer by disconnecting power from it for ten minutes. If you restore power and it continues to flash "E10" I would recommend having a professional out to properly diagnosis your washer. Hopefully this information is helpful. -Matt

Hello paversa971 - Are you certain the error code is E12? This manufacturer does not have any E12 error code for washers. Could it possibly be E10 or E11? If so, washer may be experiencing a water fill issue.
