Controller won't link to the ps3 middle button just flashes as if its trying to connect. I have connected the tab coors but still nothing works.

Is the controller completely charged? If it is, then try this
1) Manually turn on your PS3 using the power button on the PS3.
2) Take your USB charger for your controller and plug it into the USB port. (Do NOT turn on your controller yet!)
3) Plug the controller into the charger that is connected to the PS3 USB port.
4) Now turn on your controller using the middle "PS" button.

The lights will flash for a few seconds, and that will sync your controller to that particular PS3 system. This might help :D

Help!

Seems that the battery is low on power, when the controller is connected to the usb port of the ps3, all leds should start flashing, this show that the battery of the controller is recharging, when done the leds go off.
Note that before the leds start flashing that it can thake up an minute before it starts doing that.
Keep your ps3 on to recharge the controller.

Succes.

My ps3 has a message saying (the maximum amount of power that can be supplied to usb device has been reached remove at least one device) what is the problem.. it does this when i have my controller hooked...

how many gigs is your PS3 and are you using a offical PS3 usb plug and is your controller a real PS3 Sony controller or one of those mad catz controller. If it is not the USB plug that came with the PS3 that could be one problem, if its not a real Sony PS3 controller that could be one and if your PS3 is less than 60gig dont play or watch any thing on it when you plug in the controller

PS3 USB cycles every 5 seconds??

Pack it up. Ship it back, even if you don't have a warrantee, and since its the original 60GB, you probably
do not. But, it's going to keep on doing this until you have corrected the misconfigured unit.

One thing you did not mention, is whether you have the latest updates, and if you don't, try that before
packing, IF your constantly disconnecting unit will allow you to do so.

PS3 USB ports won't work

All I could say is have a person who is really smart with technology take your Ps3 aapart and check the diodes on your fuse board (green plate that has a buncha little things on it). check to see if your diodes could be burnt or possobly loose. unless you can take it apart but have troubles putting it back together i wouldent try it. have a really smart person fix it. not a scientist or some guy from a company...justi make sure they no wat they are doing. I messed up my USBs by having a short in my keyboard. it tells me to plug in my controler but It wont read my controlers. theres a 92% chance its somthing wrong with my USB ports. I hope this helps you out.

PS3 controller Problem

I just fixed mine. The controller itself needs to be reset. There is a reset button on the back of the controller, above the top right hand corner of the square with all on the information and barcode. Press it with a sharp tipped object while still connected to the PS3 via USB cable. Then press the PS button and you should be back on wirelessly.
