    Hello,

I have the same problem...I plug my Sansa c250 player into my two home computers and it does not show in my drives. I tried it on my work computer and it appeared so it seems the player can work. I want to learn what I need to do to get it working at home.

I had the same issue with my player on the computer I use at work. I thought it might be the USB port, but after trying several other USB ports (at work and home), I think my problem is the connection between my player's USB connector slot and the the USB cord. If you are old enough to remember Atari game systems, it's similar to the frequent problem between the unit and the cartridge not getting a snug connection. I think in my case it's the cable (hoping it's not the mp3 player!!). Perhaps yours was a PC USB port issue?

I cannot find the music that i put on the v touch from the computer but my library says all songs have been added but i cannot find them on the v touch SO WHAT AM I DOING WRONG THIS IS A V-TOUCH THAT HAS...

Putting Files on Your Player
  1. Plug in your official Visual Land mp3 player to your PC with the included USB cable.
  2. Locate your player on the PC by opening 'My Computer', it should show up as an extra drive. Open the player drive.
  3. Locate the directory where the files you want on the player are located on your PC, and open that folder.
  4. Click and hold on the desired file to transfer, and then "Drag" it over to the player's external drive folder, and unclick to 'drop' the file onto the player.
  5. Your Visual Land Player may support synching with Windows Media Player, but it is not guaranteed. Your Visual Land Player however will NOT support other synching software such as iTunes, MusicMatch, or any other programs. Simply use the process above to put files on your unit.
If your Songs Not Showing in Playlist
If your songs are not showing up in the playlist after updating it, try removing any subfolders within the MUSIC folder.

The V-Touch Player uses a directory structure for initial scan of usable files. Each mode goes to an appropriate default folder for its initial scan of playable files. Video files should be placed in the “VIDEO” folder. Audio files should be placed in the “AUDIO” folder. Image files should be placed in the “IMAGE” folder. If they are not placed in the appropriate folders, you will need to search through the player's directories to find them.

Won't show up on my computer

When you open Windows Media Player, does it show an icon of your coby mp3 player? if so, just double-click the Coby icon, and bring up the song folders that way.

connect to your pc using usb connection. sansa should be recognized as storage media drive. navigate to the drive. Drag and drop files to music/video folder. Enable show hidden files and folders in your windows folder settings. Tools>Folder Options>View. Some of the folders are hidden. You can delete the preloaded music also. Some of them are in the radio folder.

I can't delete the songs and the computer says my mp3 is "full"

You need to be in MSC mode to do deletion in My Computer; put in MSC mode in the settings menu under USB, then plug in, go to My Computer and open it as a drive, go to Music folder and delete by rightclicking on songs and choosing delete. You can also format the player by rightclicking on the drive letter of the sansa and choosing format. If you are deleting from a program like Rhapsody (ugh) or windows media player, you will get a lot of issues and not all will delete. Stick with My Computer in MSC. Also as a side note, make sure you have all file folders showing including hidden files in the tools menu in My Computer

Hello, having trouble with my mp3 player SanDisk c140.

Solution is pretty simple.

Go to Settings on your device -> USB -> Change it to MSC.

When you connect it to your computer on Win2000 it will show as a drive. Open the drive you should see the folders. Drag and drop your mp3's into Music* folder. Or your videos into Video folder and your Photos to Photos folder.
