Brand new HPDeskjet D4360 printer and I can't get it to work

Why not contact HP support about this? if it is a brand new printer, probably fixing it "yourself" might ruin the warranty. read the terms of warranty before you attempt any self-inflicted-trial and error fixes.

How do I get my printer to print


1.Make sure you have the right kind of cable. You need a USB cable to hook it up to the pc.

2. Make sure that it is compatible with your OS and that the driver is installed.

3. Make sure that ink cartridges are not low on supply.

If everything else fails, you might have a defective printer. It is time to get a new one, or if it is brand new, call your the store's tech support and have it diagnosed. They can issue an RMA for it.

The printer does not print black ink - only color. It is brand new so i don't understand?


Sometimes, the brand new inks have a bad head on them. You should return the ink to the store for a replacement and the new one should work fine. I had 4 do this to me in a row.

Hpdeskjet 970cxi only prints blue and black


When refilling cartridges it doesn't always work. replace the ink for known good or new cartridges.

Brandnew hp deskjet d4360 and it's not printing dark enough at all.


Normal 0 Could have a corrupt driver.
Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off. I'd do both and when the CD software program asks you to connect the printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.
