Question about Samsung SyncMaster 740N 17" LCD Monitor
I own a Samsung SyncMaster 740 N Monitorfor a month now. The problem with the same is ,that a Pink Line appears on the monitor vertically on the Right hand side of it. It use to appear earlier & after the system used to be switched off, the same used to disappear! However, now the Pink Line is permanently appearing on the screen! Please help me Sir & revert at your earliest!
Hey Mate, its either the graphics card of the monitor. both can give you that problem, first thing i would try is open the base unit and take out the graphics card and refit it, see if it fixes your problem or test another monitor on it. Second if its the monitor your best to send it back to samsung as it they honestly aint worth fixing, will cost you probably more than the monitor is worth, we used to sell the samsung syncmaster monitors and they were nothing but hassle, its the only monitor we ever sold they we sent about 70% of them back for dead pixels, or just packing in for one reason or another. All the best John
