Question about Canon Sure Shot 90U 35mm Point and Shoot Camera
We have a canon sure shot 90u 35mm camera. the manual specifies a cr2 lithium battery. seems crazy, but we haven't found any cr2 battery that works unless it has a 2015 on the package. i thought that was an expiration date, but we put in a cr2 with 2016 numbered on the battery and we get no power at all. are we crazy or do batteries really have a specification as to 2014, 2015 or 2016. 2015 is getting harder to find in any local stores
I have found some variation in how long the CR2 batteries are. You might try bending the negative contact up to give more pressure against the battery.
