Door hinge not allowing door to close .. how to fix hinge
SOURCE: self closing door hinges
This is not a refrigerator problem BUT, you must insert a tool like a drift punch into one of the holes on the top of the hinge and rotate it away from the door position then reposition the holding pin to prevent it from recoiling.

The spring is actually a door closure , are the wheels that the bar closure mechanism goes through and attaches to the spring moving freely? It is entirely possible that a bin in the fridge is keeping the door open.

If this refrigerator has a Energy Saver mode, turn it on.
Then, check the door gasket for the refrigerator to make sure it's not leaking. This is normal if you have previously used the crushed ice mode. The refrigerator will continue to dispense crushed ice for some time until the reserves are depleted. If this continues for a longer period then shut down the refrigerator and remove the dispenser compartment, clean any remaining ice and reinstall it. Start the power supply and wait 5 hours for the ice to form. Use the cube mode and you will surely obtain ice cubes.
