Misfeed trouble with sharp ar-337

Hi,

I have a Sharp AR-337 copier and it displays a misfeed trouble on the screen, I checked and cleaned the sensors and stills with the trouble on the 3 sensors, one in the paper transport section, other on the suction unit and another in the paper exit section. Those sensors are in good conditions, and i did change the main board PCU PWB and the paper transport sensor PWB too. and it stills displaying the misfeed trouble.

What can i do with this trouble? everything is checked and cleaned and it stills that way.

I'll be waiting for your support.

Thank you.

- Hi,

The thing is that there's no misfeed paper, i've searched everywhere in the machine, and i didn't find it, there isn't. Somehow it stills displaying the misfeed trouble in the screen.

It had not any misfeed trouble before this error , i just turned on the copier and this error came up. Their pick-ups and sep/tires are Ok.

I disassembly the whole paper transport section, from the paper tray to the paper exit. I checked, cleaned and replaced sensors and i replaced all the things i mentioned in the last post.

What should i do?

- Thanks everyone for giving a try on helping us.

The solution for this problem was cheking if each of the sensors in the paper feed section were working correctly. We checked and everyone were working correctly. That made us think that there wasn't any damaged sensor. After this, we searched in the HARNESS DIAGRAM, and we followed the wires until we got to PCU PWB, where we detected that the wire for the sensor PSD was broken. We corrected this broken wire and everything worked correctly.

Thank you.

-   I have the exact same issue; where is this "harness diagram" you speak of? Is there a method to properly disassemble the unit?

Thanks in advance.

Dear sir;I suggest you go to simulation mode 30 & 40 to find out which sensor got problem procedure as follow;
1, press "program", "interupt" "clear", "interupt"
2, enter 30, press "start", enter 01, pres start again, then all the sensor light in the paper path are on the abnormal one blinking.
3, repeat same step for 30 sub 02 that's for paper path in the feed section.
4, repeat same step for simulation 40 sub code 01,that's for by-pass paper path sensor.
After you done those procedure you will find out which sensor block out or defect, good luck.
HAVE A HAPPY HOLIDAY !!!
