Tried to remove Hard disk and checked it on another computer. Did not find any errors on it. Intermitently it displays the the blue screen, but cannot boot-up the system. booting from CD is not posible. what to do? Help pls.

One time I received an "F3 button Fail" on the blue screen. So I removed and cleaned the key pad. After that I did not see any more error code.

If I understand you correctly you turned off your laptop and since then have not been about to boot up normally, occasionally getting a blue screen. Typically the blue screen also has some type of error message, can you tell us what that is? You indicate that booting from the CD drive is not possible, is that because you don?t have a working drive? In any case this sounds like a problem with system files or possible a device driver and a CD drive is almost certainly going to be necessary. Let us know the answers to this questions and any other pertinent history relating to this issue and we?ll see if we can help.

What does it mean when that blinking green light turns to orange one in lp 350?

Hi
This would be "Standby"
When you press standby, the display and audio turn off and a blank screen is displayed for 15 minutes.
You can change the amount of time the projector stays in standby mode; see “Standby Time” on page 27 for details.
The LED lights orange while the projector is in standby.
• If you press standby again within 15 minutes, the projector returns to normal operations immediately. The LED changes from orange to green.
• If you press standby again after 15 minutes, there is about a 60 second delay before the lamp turns back on. The LED flashes green while the lamp is re-lighting.
• If you don’t press standby again, the lamp turns off after 15 minutes. The LED lights orange while the projector is in standby.

I hope these help

IBM ThinkPad R40 No PowerUp

If the the ram is the problem of your system, there should be a power on light on the system. indicating that some of the component of the system is not working correctly. But since you mentioned there is no light, it is the possibility that the problem is the motherboard itself.
