I have just bought a 2G micro SD card and it has a big, medium, and small card the small 1 is for the cell phone but what are the other 2 for and how do I put songs on my micro SD card to go on my phone?
The small card fits in to the biggerones to transfer files from your phone to your computer or a photo station.( like at walmart) where you insert the card and print photos. AS to getting music on it i have found the easiest way is once installed in your phone go to i tunes and down load them. or you can search songs on yahoo mobile as mp3 and save them to the card as well.

Adding a Micro SD card to your cell phone is a wonderful way of fully using the multimedia capabilities of most modern day phones. Most current cell phones now have the capability of having a micro SD card. It it simple to add one and is similar to inserting your SIM card. Take of the battery backing, pull out you battery and you will view a small rectangular slot which holds your cell SIM card. If your phone has the option of having a micro SD storage card you will see a similar smaller rectangular slot or compartment for a micro SD. You can purchase micro SD cards at many stores and the price has dropped tremendously and can now holds up to 16 gigabytes of memory. With this card in place you can now use your phone to hold a large amount of songs which can be used for ring tones and use you phone as a MP3 player. If your phone has a camera you will be able to store far more pictures then any phone comes standard with. You can also, place and store important documents on your phone. With a large enough card your phone should fully cover all your multimedia needs and unlock the full potential of your phone. A micro SD card is a great way to get the most out of your cell phone.
The SD slot will be located behind the battery compartment. Most of the time these phones are pre-installed with a micro SD card. If not, a 2G Micro SD card would be sufficient for most things. roughly 8-10 dollars.
To have more storage capacity for your phone, delete unimportant SMS in your INBOX, OUTBOX and SENT ITEMS. Delete also unimportant pictures, videos, music and ringtones. The phone memory is relatively small and is shared to all data and other files that are stored in the phone. By deleting some of these will free you some memory.
Alternatively, you can also put in a Micro SD memory card(Memory Card model depends to what your cell phone is compatible of, Micro SD is a sample) to your phone which will also increase its storage capacity. A Micro SD Card look something like the picture below.

No, Im Sorry But Adaptors Are Incapable Of Holding Memory, And You Shouldn't Take Out The Micro SD Before You Remove The SD Card, You Should Also Try Putting In The Micro SD Card And Going To Tools And Enter Into The Memory Option And Selecting Card, Then Using The Options Button Format It, Then Put It Back Into You Computer And Save All Your Songs To The Folder Named my_music This Should Work, And Just So You Know The Phone Will Not Play All Of The Songs That You Put On It For Some Reason, Its Some Formatting Conflict The Songs Can Be In .wma Format Or .mp3 not .mp4 or any other types.
you can get a memory card reader so that you can connect it to the usb port of your computer and you can add songs to the memory card...after copying it just put that memory card in your phone and enjoy hearing songs...
there is a slot on the phone where the sd card will go. once you install it the phone will recognise the memory card and most models will ask if you want to make the card your default storage device. select yes and everything you store from that point on will be on the sd card.
