Question about Coby MP-C7097 MP3 Player
U just push in the reset button, I used the the round ended part of a paper clip it fits right in there. My computer started to read my coby mp3 player's software and worked when i turned it on ! I have also droped it many times before and yet it's still going strong. I HOPE THIS HELPED (and im sure it will)

I have the same problem...it wont turn on. the only time it powers on is when i connect it to the computer and the reading on the screen says "USB Connected"..."MSC" maybe a firmware upgrade will fix it? if so, how do you perfor a firmware upgrade?

Check if battery is dead.
check if the device is recongnized by computer as a USB MASS STORAGE.
and perform a Firmware Upgarde.
check the utility in ur device Support Page.
