try to install the cartridge again and see if it can print.or u can reinstall the printer drivers. if the problem still persists then visit below mentioned link for a free diagnosis. http://tinyurl.com/m7ghqz
I contacted the Brother site, the support function there. Pursuant to what I found there, I unplugged the printer for ten seconds and replugged. The message display then told me that cyan was empty, and that magenta was near empty.
I installed a new cartridge in place of the empty cyan, and that fixed it.
Try taking your yellow cartridge out and giving it a shake. Also make sure you've removed all the plastic tabs from the cartridge, and test to see if there is any colour coming from it by pressing a damp paper towel against where the ink shoots out. If it still doesn't work I would simply return the yellow ink cartridge to where you purchased it for a new one.
This error can arise when the door on the right-hand side of the printer, the part you open in order to replace the toner cartridges, is not correctly closed. Close the top right-hand section first and then close the door on the right-hand side firmly (slamming it if necessary) and then check that all edges look correctly aligned. That should solve the problem. Incorrect shutting of these parts has always been the cause of this error on our Samsung CLP-600N laser printers and we have several of them.
If the toner is empty it will display this message and the only way I know of getting rid of it is to replace the cartridge. They do make refill kits with extra chips so you can cut the old one out and sticky tape another on. As for a clearing code I am unaware of one for this unit as the information is store in the toner cartridge.
I fought the "replace transfer belt" message for quite awhile. Then I finally realized I was trying to close the toner cartridge door BEFORE I closed the lid above it. (The printer was close to a wall so I couldn't see the "open and close in this sequence" signs on the cartridge door.) Once I closed them in the proper order, I stopped seeing that message. Janet
