Question about GE Advantium 120 Convection/Microwave Oven
For the past several months I have noticed that my oven- in microwave mode- starts making this odd noise after it has been on longer than 2 minutes-sort of a popping, vibrating noise; coupled with this, is the fact that it seems to either cook too fast or too slowly. The light does not come on during microwaving, but does when you open the door. I have not tried using the speedcook mode- just the microwave. Additonally, the carousel does not rotate any longer--which explains the hotspots, at least! Do you have any suggestions??
The drive to the carousel is broken...and what you hear is the drive trying hitting the bottom of drive shaft* (cheaper to replace then fix)
