I sense a real personality dysfunction in that there have been several conflicts of escalating hostility with different experts of normally rational behaviour all of which had in common only one factor -that being the personality we discuss. I have yet to put my finger on what that dysfunction is but it incites the same emotional response. All of my technical/analytical skills have a fundamental root and that is recognizing patterns. I think recognizing that pattern without even knowing what drives it has instinctively, so far, allowed me to avoid being one of the victims. Make sense?

Broken power plug in spike

if its just the thing in the center and the motherboard didnt break, it is fixable. depending on who you find to do it it could cost from 50-over 100 or so. i have someone fixing the exact same issue on a laptop for a friend right now. i had to order the dc jack from ebay so i am waiting for that right now. that only cost $3 i think. if they have the jack and know what they are doing, it can be done in a few hours. i found the guy thats working on the one for me on craigslist. you can try that. hope this helps

Display Driver Stopped working and has successfully recovered!

Sounds like a common over-heating issue. Make sure your laptop is getting enough air circulation, both under and around the unit. Most laptops draw air from underneath and displace it out the sides or rear. Places like carpets, lounge chairs and beds cause the laptop to sink into them and prevent the vents and fans from drawing in cool air. To prevent this, try placing a firm board or other object under the laptop when using it in such places. If this doesn't work, try to observe if the fans are working correctly, if they aren't noticeably running or seem to quiet, then a faulty power cord or thermostat on the heat sinks may be the problem.

there are 2 choices of Java you can use.......Sun Java and Virtual Machine....some prefer the sun java
but the Virtual Machine works better for games and you do need Java to play in games, ( without it some won't get in and if some do get in , they won't stay in games)
