    C Drive Free Space 54.5 GB Total Size 67.1GB
    D Drive Free Space 4.44 GB Total Size 7.36 GB

    PROBLEM low disk space on "D" How do I fix this

Do you use your D drive or is it one you just noticed? It looks like C is your boot drive and D may be a recovery partition put there by HP. If you don't use it then don't worry about it unless you want to restore your computer to the factory settings.

Either remove some of the files you no longer need or tag that drive as full and purchase an additional drive. You can buy 2TB drives for under $100 so they are cost effective.

I have a hp cp4005dn on a network. The prints have color repeating dotts . I have change the toner cartidges and transfer belt. I still have issues.


Calibrate the printer after replacing the ETB.

Full Calibrate Now
Use the following procedure to calibrate the printer whenever you replace the DC controller, the ETB,
the drum drive motors, the drum drive gears, or a laser/scanner. Full Calibrate Now includes theQuick Calibrate routines and adds Drum Phase Calibration and Color Plane Registration. Full
Calibrate lasts for about four minutes.
1. Press Menu to enter the MENUS.
2. Press to highlight CONFIGURE DEVICE.
3. Press to select CONFIGURE DEVICE.
4. Press to highlight PRINT QUALITY.
5. Press to select PRINT QUALITY.
6. Press to highlight FULL CALIBRATE NOW.
7. Press to select FULL CALIBRATE NOW. Wait for the printer to calibrate.

you can try getting a flash for your bios to see bigger drives it is probably a size limitation in bios what operating system are using and how old is the computer

Use this link: www.hp.com. Click Support & Drivers tab. For step 1, select Download drivers and Software. 2. Enter the product name eg, HP Deskjet 6943. Click Go. Lookup for your model and download its drivers. Good luck

D drive is full


You don't need to format the D drive, but you can if you want to.
Just click on the files and folders on the D drive and delete them, when you have finished deleting the files and folders then click on the Recycle bin and empty it.

Right click your recovery drive and click "format". A dialog box will appear, if the "quick format" box is checked, un-check it, which will do a full format.
