Soap not rinsing out

I have a whirlpool duet sport WFW8600t. the soap is not rinsing out completely. i use the HE detergent and only use the amount for a medium load, but it doesn't all rinse out. i have low water pressure, and i'm wondering if it simply isn't using enough water.

Have you cleaned the filter on this unit,if not you should the filter is located in the front bottom of washer you must remove bottom front cover by removing the three screws along bottom this will expose water pump should be right in front center there is a removable cap remove by turning counter clockwise be sure to have a towel handy there will probably be some water so loosen this cap remove filter clean out and re-assemble in opposite order.

I have the same problem but it seems to only affect the laundry side of the dispenser.. I have 2 washers and have the same problem with BOTH of them!! No problem with the softener of bleach side.... hmmm?? Could it still be the pump filter??

Whirlpool Duet steam Front Loading Automatic Washer. the liquid detergent does not completely empty, leaving about 1/2 Tablepoon behind. yes the detergent type selector is in the right place.

Is your machine level front to back and side to side? And Or, you maybe be actually overfilling it. It's timed to run enough water through to empty the reservoir. And BTW if you have soft water you only need about half to actually clean because of the soft water you need less detergent... I recommend extra rinse to make sure all soap is gone when using soft water. Ever notice people in a Hot Tub and lots of foam when some gets in...yup that's why. Hoe I helped

Suds message

The suds message usually means that there was too much detergent in the machine for the load. Remember to use a HE detergent and use the recommended amount. For a small load, use just enough detergent to reach the minimum detergent line (if there is one). Otherwise, you should use about half of the usual amount of detergent for a small load compared to a large load.

Usually the washer will add an additional rinse to remove the extra suds. If you notice detergent is still on your clothes, run the load through the washer on the same cycle without adding more detergent.

The manual for several versions of the Whirlpool Duet GHW9150P are available from GE: https://www.whirlpool.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/OCManualsLiteratureSearchResultView?catalogId=10561&langId=-1&storeId=10211&krypto=5QgxQhneFlibuKNJvC4qU4ramPrjJ75r2vuMTp0sZ%2F7cWgUj2a5ZKg%3D%3D&ddkey=http:OCManualsLiteratureSearchResultView . Alternatively, start here: http://www.whirlpool.com/owners-center/owners-center-homepage.content.html and enter the model number and click the right arrow.

I hope this helps.

The recommendation is to change this part:

F-35: Analog switch/water level failure.

Item 20

$86

F35

ANALOG PRESSURE SENSOR FAILURE
If this failure is displayed, there is any malfunction of the steamer
component detected by the Steamer Electronic Board.

Possible Causes/Procedure
Check if pressure hose is fixed correctly.
Check if the airtrap is not blocked.
Check if the hose is not blocked.

Make sure you are ONLY using HE SOAP!
Correct usage amounts are as follows:

Regular HE SOAP = 2 Tablespoons
2X HE SOAP = 1 Tablespoon
3X HE SOAP = 1 Teaspoon

The information on the soap usage comes directly from Whirlpool Tech Line.

SUDS LOCK (OVERDOSE OF DETERGENT DETECTED DURING THE
WASH CYCLE)

If suds are detected continuously by the pressure switch during the drain
or spin phases, the washer will fi ll 4 liters of water and during 5 minutes
the unit will rest without tumbling, the water will be drained and it will try
to spin or drain again.

Possible Causes/Procedure

If too much detergent was used:
Run through a RINSE/SPIN cycle.
Run a NORMAL cycle without adding any detergent.
This should clear the unit of the excess detergent.
Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or kinked.
Unplug washer or disconnect power.
Check wire harness connections to the drain pump, pressure switch,
and Central Control Unit (CCU).
Check/clean drain pump filter of foreign objects.
Plug in washer or reconnect power.
Check drain pump.
Check the pressure switch.
Verify CCU operation by running a Diagnostic Test or any cycle.
