Tricity Bendix washer won't take fabric softner in rinsing cycle

Your machine possibly has a defective water inlet valve which is preventing water from entering the dispenser channel to flush the fabric softner into the machine. The inlet valve in inside of your machine right where the washer hoses attach. the solenoid valves on the inlet will need to be checked with a multimeter to verify if they are working properly.

To remove the solonides, unclip the plastic bracket where the hozes are connected. Then remove the metal bracket holding the selonides into position. The selonide assemblies can then be pulled out. To test apply 250v to each selonide, if it is OK you will hear it operate. To reassemble a little Vasaline on the push fits, will help slide the selonide assemblies back into position. After doing all this my machine worked, so I think the selonide was a bit stickey.
