Question about Magellan RoadMate 700 GPS Receiver
I have had a Magellan Roadmate 700 for 6 years now and I love it. The problem, now, is that it tends to 'freeze' or lock up on the map screen in the middle of a trip. I usually have to unplug the power and restart and sometimes it will do it again after I'm into the trip a few miles. Is there a solution or something I can have checked. I can't believe how much cheaper they are now - I paid $1000 6 years ago! Please advise ........ thanks! Geoff (Jeff) Magnani Magnum Reproduction Services - Owner
Try resetting user data. At user menu, press "-" zoom out and repeat button at same time. select reset user data, it will reboot automatically, then check to see if it is any better. If not, hopefully the software came with your unit and you can re-install it. Good luck and let me know if you need help with the installation. Daniel
