Question about Uniden Cordless Phone

GE 27936GE3-M I had problems with phone not giving voice feedback.I put a new battery in and let it charge over night. seemed to fix it at first. Now it is doing the same thing. The base works properly but the handset still has the same problem. Also can't find a manual for it......HELP!!!!!!!!

SOURCE: Uniden cordless phones

This sounds like the register-deregister problem elsewhere on this page. Try holding down the "end" and "#" buttons for about 6 seconds to deregister the phones and then reregister them. I had this problem too and it worked for me.

I successfully reset Radio Shack (Uniden) 5561 handset by reconnecting the battery while holding the '*' and '#' key, then press the right upper soft key near the LCD window. The display will indicate "EEPROM/RAM cleared!!" and will return the handset to the factory default condition - looking for a base to register to.

You can try with this procedure, Try to charge another battery in this phone with another charger, if the battery got charged then there is an issue with your charger and battery, if it gives the same problem, then you have to get fixed your phone from repairing shop or your cellphone service center, it seems that the charging IC of your phone is not working properly which needs to be replaced, they will check the whole motherboard of your phone, and will fix the problem, if the set is in warranty claim it as soon as possible .

I can't turn my olympus digital voice recorder WS-450S on, even with a new battery, i hadn't used it in a while, so i was shocked that it didn't work. It only turns on if i plug it in to the computer, but...


I've got this same problem :( Turns on when I plug it in to the USB, stays on when I disconnect it but if I turn it off I can't turn it back on again. It is showing a "battery low" warning and I tried to charge it via the USB last night, but it seems to stop charging after a while and despite being left for a good time last night, this morning it is the same and I've had another battery low warning.

I've just found the full pdf manual online, and have found (on page 80) a reference to it not always behaving stably when connected via a USB hub. I'm going to try to charge it via a direct port and see if that fixes it.

Had the same problem. You need new battery! (borrow from friend, if anyone has HTC to test if phone is OK with different battery).

Battery Won't Stay Charged


well if you have recieved new batteries and they wont stay charged then the problem isn't the batteries apparently. It could possibly be that your charger has gone bad and isn't charging your battery all the way. I suggest buying a new charger and it should fix your problem and if it's not your charger then it must be the outlet supplying voltage to the charger going bad. More than likely you need a new charger cause it seems like its not getting the voltage it needs to charge your phone.

Lg ks360 battery problem,, charge it up fully and battery dies in 2 hours my phone is dead in the morning when i left it the night before with only one bar of the battery down. What can i do to solve this...


Im not sure if this goes for phones...
But I noticed that when you get something with a charger and you seem to over-charge it (Leaving it constantly plugged in or charging it for long periods of time after its fully charged) it actually makes the life of the object shorter....

It could be that because you've been leaving it over night to charge its been eating at the LGs battery...

But like I said, im not sure...
Obviously you can't fix something like that...

I finally find a way to stop this problem from occuring : never leave your phone on the charger with the battery isnt empty !

I know this sucks because what best place to put your phone at night than its base. But try it and it will work (unless your battery is already damaged). In the morning when i go to work, I charge it for 8 hours, then when I come back, I take it off the charge until next morning.

I used to put it on the charge for all night and all day until I read an interesintg post :

Since I have been doing this, I didnt get any more problems with my phone.

Vocal problem


hi there..if there is video and background audio coming out from the TV, and no voice recognition from the mic- then mic is the problem. I believed the problem is the "voice coil". This is a part that can be replaced- you can contact me and we can repair that.

two ways to check
remove the mic ball
the part which the mic ball is is covering is the voice coil.
try holding both terminals (black and white wire)- if there is feedback sound- it is open and need to be replaced
try using your tester- test the impedance- there should be 500- 600 ohms reading
