Question about Gigabyte GA-K8VT800 Motherboard
Hi... i got a used k8vt800m motherboard and is not posting start...
i wonder if the memory has anything to do with it...could it be the
memory is not compatible? i have a kingston 1gig
KVR400x64C3A/1G it came with it... i also have an AMD SEMPRON
SDA2800AIO3BA MODEL 2800+... 1.6 MHZ ...IF ANYBODY has any
experience with this motherboard and cpu please help...i like to know
what position does the cmos jumper goes normally...on or off
there are only two pins...usually there are tree..

First, remove all power from motherboard, including the Power Supply ATX plug. Then remove ram and all PCI and PCI-E / AGP (Video) cards even network cards... Let it sit for about 5 minutes and then plug in the necessities: RAM, Video Cards and if nothing works repeat the process but alternating ram slots and ram.
