Hi,sound like you are hitting the scroll wheel button, down once put a split screen to show you what you are working on. these are settings you can change to your preference with the intellipoint software on the disk,or download from the microsoft hardware website. be advised this software is for microsoft hardware only. hope this helps, good luck! glen

My ex100 logitech mouse isn't working properly

Hi there

Your mouse buttons are stuck and can no longer hold firmly.

The best solution is to get a new mouse because repairing the mouse might cost almost the same price as buying a new one.

have a great day!

I've seen this problem ... often it's a spyware issue. So, I'd suggest downloading and running your favorite anti-spyware program, such as SpyBot. Good luck.

Logitech G7 cordless laser mouse - erratic action

Acting on advice from another FixYa string, we blew out the mouse and dock several times with canned air. It performed slightly better, but then as we continued to use the mouse it suddenly cleared and is working almost 100% now.

From reading earlier strings, I'm wondering why Logitech (in its product material received on purchase) doesn't recommend this as periodic maintenance for the mouse?

Mouse: Must click 3 or 4 times to "pick" stuff. Highlighting "lets go"

Try compressed air to clean under the button. Alternativly try tapping the sides of the mouse gently on the desk - this could dislodge anything under the button

I don't think its a driver issue but you may as well try it. look for the mouse driver on the 3M web site

you may have turned on click-lock. You can disable this feature in Control Panel, under Accessibility Options. Click Lock helps people who have a hard time holding the mouse button while dragging the mouse across the screen by holding the mouse button for them
