Paper feed jams on right hand side after I pulled bits of an A4 that came out ripped

Bruno:

You did not get all the pieces of that A4 paper out of the paper path. There is still a small shard of paper in the right side of the paper feed area. Use a flashlight to look carefully in the paper feed area and gently use tweezers to remove the piece of paper. If you pulled the sheet of A4 paper backwards out of the feed area, you may have dislodged the paper feed sensor (a small plastic finger that sticks down in the paper path to tell the printer that the paper has passed.) Be careful with the tweezers... if you break that sensor, there is no fixing it.

Paper jam door - I cannot open this no my HP 8250.

Turn off the printer, then unplug it from the power source. Clear the
printer of any paper that may be obstructing the paper path. Remove the rearaccess door. Gently remove the jammed paper from the printer, then replace therear access door.
Remove the rear access door to clear paper jams.If you cannot remove all jammed paper from the rear area of the printer, tryremoving paper jammed in the middle of the printer by opening the paper jamdoor located inside the top cover.
Open the paper jam door to clear paper jams in the middle of the printer.Plug the printer back in and turn it on.

My psc 1100 series paper jam. How i can fix

Hi

You need to switch off and unplug the printer. Now open the rear access door by pressing in on the left side of the access door and then pulling it toward you. Now check for any paper jams. From the rear access door opening, gently pull any jammed paper out.

Note-- All paper jams must be removed by pulling the paper out the back of the all-in-one using the rear access door. Pulling the paper out the front of the all-in-one rotates the paper feed rollers in the wrong direction and can lead to additional problems.

Reattach the rear access door by inserting the two pins on the right of the door into the holes for them, and then pressing in gently but firmly on the left side.

Paper jam that tells me to 'remove rear access door' and I don't know how to do that

Clear the jam from the back of the All-in-One CAUTION: Do not try to clear a paper jam from the front of the product. Pulling the paper from the front of the product rotates the paper feed roller in the wrong direction and can damage the print mechanism.
  1. Press the Power button (c01476163.gif ) to turn off the product.
  2. Disconnect the power cord from the back of the product.
Press in the tab on the left side of the rear access door to release the door. Remove the door by pulling it away from the product.

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.

The paper won't advance enough to print in our HP officejet 7580

Look for little pieces of paper that get stuck in the rollers, also verify that the gears and roller didn't get misaligned when you cleared the jam.
Good Luck,

Hp psc 1400 inkjet fix, paper jam

Please try these steps :
1. Turn the printer off and open the access cover.
2. Look for any obstructions in the paper path and remove them if necessary. (It is possible to move the carrier assembly with the power off.)
3. Turn the printer on, load some paper, and press the Form Feed button.
4. Watch the paper as it feeds through and try to determine where the jam is occurring.
5. Check to see if all the rollers are turning.

If all the rollers are turning, there may be something in the feed path that you can't see. Go to step 6.
If not, there is probably a feed motor or a gear problem and the printer may require service.
6. If the paper is jamming under the carrier assembly, you may be able to fix it using the manual feed slot.
7. Turn the printer off.
8. Take a #10 envelope and feed it through the left side of the manual feed slot until it comes right through the printer to the back of the exit rollers.
9. Move it up and down first, and then slowly move it over to the right side. If something is stuck under the black guide plate, this may work it loose.
