- audio out is great - if I use the internal mic in other programs such as yahoo chat or messenger (on the mac) - it is fine too. Sees as though the problem is with paltalk but I really dont believe that.
When I open my mixer - the microphone IN vertical slide is in ghost - all of the other slides are in green. So is this something to do with bootcamp / or mac dont like the soundboard mic in and will not see or accept it.

check out the volume settings first and increase it as much you require.and also check out the wiring connections and instead of that program try listening any songs or audio from that same speaker to confirm the exact fault.
Memory issues... you need to add more memory to your system and also get rid of any spyware as it will slow down your system... i recommend spybot s&d for that... as well defragging your system will often help as well
hi there you will have to set the mic up properly with the system, go to the control panel and select "sounds" to set up the microphone's different audio levels
Check if this also happens with an external driver.

- Check if this also happens with an external microphone. If you don't get the bad sound using an external mic, then the connection to the mic is shorted, and the mac must be taken apart to fix the problem.
If the problem persist using an external mic, that means that the audio controller is bad, or the software recording software has a problem. Solution is trying to reinstall Mac OS, if that does not work, your MAc audio chipset is faulty.
In this case you have two choices, either you replace MAC motherboard, or you buy an external audio adapter, like this one:Amazon.com: External 5.1 USB 3D Audio

Hi, I have an MK5 Magic Mike and when I plug it into the T.V, the screen is just green and it is making a repeating noise like something is sticking. There is nothing showing on the mike itself as if it isn't plugged in. Previous to this the songs were freezing in the middle of it. Can you help please. Cheers Shirley
