Question about Cuisinart DCC-2000
I have the cuisinart DCC-2000 coffee on demand coffee maker, and when I tried to decalcify it today, the coffee maker turned off and will not start back up again after brewing about half of the white vinegar/water mixture. Is there a fuse somewhere that I blew? If so, what kind of fuse is it and where is the fuse located within the coffee maker?
The parts to repair a problem of this magnitude are generally not available. The DCC-2000 has a thre-year warranty. I would call Cuisinart and see if you can get an in-warranty replacement. I have a high opinion of cuisinart and their products, but this particular coffeemaker, I do not personally reccomend.
