Question about Fahrenheat Built-In Baseboard Thermostat Heater

Do the Fahrenheat Hydronic Baseboard heaters work well?

I am thinking of having installed a 90'' inch hydronic BB heater - does the tube that heats the water inside really work well and does this model throw off a lot of heat?  Are there other brands you would reccomend?

Is this a plug in (electric) hydronic bb heater? if so the wattage will tell you how much heat it puts off.
A standard 72" electric BB puts out about 1500 watts.

Another type of better heater might be Comfort Cove radiant heater (a BB heater that mounts on high on wall and "shines" heat down).
These are hard wired like electric BB heaters and very efficient.

I'm replacing a non-hydronic electric baseboard heating unit with a Fahrenheat hydronic one. My old unit was 240v using 2 conductors plus bare ground wire. The fahrenheat (PLF series) unit's instructions...

Hello. The red and the black are the hot wires. Therefore, connect one of your conductors to the red and the other conductor to the black. Use wirenuts. The bare ground wire should be solidly attached to the new unit's green wire using a wire nut.

IS A HYDRONIC ELECTRIC BASEBOARD MORE EFFICENT THEN THE STANDARD ELECTRIC BASEBOARD HEATER

I have some confusion about what you are asking......

There is no such thing as "Hydronic Electric Baseboards"......

I am assuming you are referring to the oil filled baseboard heaters. If so....

The same amount of btu's required to heat a space remain the same whether the elements heat a liquid to warm the air or whether they heat the air directly, the same amount of wattage will be consumed. So, their is no more or less efficiency between the two.

If you are referring to "Hydronic Baseboard Heaters" (these baseboards are fed from a boiler with a pump) Then....I will assume that it is a gas boiler. In which case, the gas boiler would be more cost efficient to operate. If it is an electric the same rule applies as above......the cost is the same.
