Error in registry

Hello sir/ma'am,
I have recently installed windows XP black edition v6 ultimate.... More or less after installing NOD32 antivirus, though i had Comodo antivirus by default, one error message suddenly appeared, IN 3 DIFFERENT windows and still everytime appearing when launching any application or even when launching add/remove programs....

Written " ERROR " on top, saying ....
A RUNTIME ERROR HAS OCCURRED, DO YOU WISH TO DEBUG?
LINE: 99
ERROR: LIBRARY NOT REGISTERED.

I tried 2 fix the prob with Registry mechanic, Registry booster(Uniblue) and even Malwarebytes, they always find only 2 problems one saying MISSING OR INVALID PATH in
The key HTML help under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS contains a bad path or value name AM_LHA.chm ....

And the other saying,
MISSING OR INVALID PATH in
The key DefTextPathes under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\GABEST\VSFILTER contains a bad path1 for the value c: \subtitles ....

I repair them but again after restarting and scanning these 2 appear :(

Please help me, i don wanna to format it again.... please.... :(

The easy way is to make windows repair itself, this can be done by starting your pc from the windows cd, then when the blue screen appears with 3 options,
..install windows,...repaire,...quite ..F3,
press enter for installation, then F8 to accept, then windows setup will search for installed OS and then asked you to press R to repair it, from this point you can press R and wait while installer delete windows system files the reinstall them without loosing your installed programs.

You have not mentioned what Operating System you are using so I assume it is Windows 7.
You will face this error if your RAM is very low. The main source of performance decreases are startup clutter, registry errors, RAM decline, fragmented files, unnecessary or redundant program installations.

In order to fix your errors and PC speed, it is recommended that your download the 'Error Code 0X800704b3 In Windows Repair Tool' from the link below. Ultimately you may also add more RAM and increase your storage space.

DRIVER NEEDED: Hitachi hl-dt-st rw/dvd gcc-4241n (Windows XP Home)

DRIVER NEEDED: Hitachi hl-dt-st rw/dvd gcc-4241n (Windows XP) [IDE]

Simple solution:

Situation
There is a yellow exclamation mark for CD/DVD drives in Device Manager. The device status in the properties of the driver might indicate an error code, for example 32, 37, or 39. Or the drive simply does not appear in My Computer or Device Manager.

Solution

To solve the issue, you have to edit the Windows Registry:
Click Start, then Run, type REGEDT32 and click OK.
Locate and then remove the following registry values:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControlCl ***{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}LowerFilters

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControlCl ***{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}UpperFilters

topic_02125.gif

Close Registry Editor.
Reboot the system for the changes to take effect.

Note: Some programs are unable to detect the CD/DVD drive after these steps. To solve this, simply re-install the program in question, eg: usually your recording software. Also, in few instances the order in which the programs are (re-)installed can make a difference.

Error1606

These are the fixes for that error that I am familiar with...The first one usually does it.

Click on “Start-Run, type “regedit” (without the quotes) Navigate to this registry path:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER --> Software --> Microsoft --> Windows --> Current Version --> Explorer --> User Shell Folders
Clear the key: Recent (right mouse click on the key/folder, choose “Delete”) Close the Registry Editor and restart the computer.

Or …. “Error 1606. Could Not Access Network Location <Common Administrative Tools>.All Users\'' Error Message When You Install a Program”

Pro tools m-powered problem

You may need to check to see which "service pack" you are currently on.

See below requirements:

System Software — Windows XP & Vista
  • Windows Vista Business or Ultimate Edition
    • 32-bit OS Installation Only
  • Windows XP Professional or Home Edition
    • With Windows XP Service Pack 2 or Service Pack 3

  • Not Supported:
    • Windows Vista 64-bit (any version)
    • Windows XP Professional x64 Edition
    • Windows XP Media Center Edition
    • Windows 98, Me, 2000, NT, 95, 3.1, DOS

  • Not Tested:
    • Windows Vista Home and Home Premium Edition
    • Although Windows Vista Home and Home Premium Edition have not been tested or qualified by Digidesign, there are currently no known issues with Vista Home and Home Premium 32-bit operating systems and Pro Tools M-Powered 7.4 compared to the supported Windows Vista Business or Ultimate Edition operating systems.

Windows Vista SP1
There are currently no known issues with Service Pack 1 for Windows Vista based on our initial limited testing and customer feedback. Although full qualification with all Digidesign products has not been completed, we do not recommend against updating to SP1, given the number of important overall system fixes in SP1. We do recommend that you backup your system and create a restore point before updating to SP1, should you encounter any problems after installing the update.
