What do you do if your ps2 regular doesn't open up?

If you mean the Drive door won't open, it means your probably going to need to replace the motor for the drive. First check and see if there's anything obvious that's keeping the door shut, anything sticky or perhaps jammed into the opening. If that doesn't work, you'll have to open up the unit and check the drive for anything inside manually.

Front door latch jams and door wont shut

It sounds like the jaws are close. you need to pull on the door latch lever and hold it open use something round like a punch. not your finger. and open the jaws. if the door latch is not bad your door should close and latch normal.

My door will not stay shut to play a game what is wrong.my ps2 door was not opening so we thought we fixed it but now it wont stay shut . all lights are on just wont stay shut to even read/play any games...

the tray doesnt stay in. does your ps2 sit on its side where the tray is sideways, or is it straight up? i think you should try rotating it to a point where it should stay shut.

The disc door wont stay shut it keeps opening

There could be something jamming the disc door, or one of the gears are cracked. If it's the gear, you'll need to get it replaced. Luckily, some online shops sell it cheap.

Interrior lights stay on

are your dasboard lights at full brightness?Turn your headlight switch(it may be on the interior light detent).BTW I drive a '97 Bonneville SE and one great thing about these cars is that if you leave a light on it will shut off after about 5 minutes so it won't drain your battery overnight.

Door jammed

try opening it it has six screws just remember where it goes then youll see another cover for the cd player also remove the top part then you should see whats inside jamming it and try to yank just a little but be careful on the wires you dont want that severed, now try to pull tray and push back then try to power it up first how the goes or where it jams then you can adjust it. after this place back the parts where they were before and try it again, i hope this helps you thnk you ands let us know if this works and we will try to give our best again..

Hi isolationman,

The screws are covered up by the pads on the bottom and square hole fillers. Take a thin blade knife and pry the squares up to reveal the screws.
