Question about Sharp 56DR650 56" Rear Projection HDTV
My tv won't show anything on the screen. power light flashes three greens then two reds. Lamp light flashes red. Manual says lamp failure. I replaced the lamp and it still does the exact same thing. I cleaned the color wheel and know it is good. All the fans come on. Still no picture but tv turns on see lamp light come on then five seconds later it turns off as if the tv is shutting down and then restarting again. What is the problem?
Hi - wanted to let you know that I have the same problem and I contacted Sharp (800) 237-4277. They offered me a prorated exchange. Select #1 prompt for Operations and then they will create a case number if you don't already have one and then send you over to the Disbatch Dept. They are picking up my 56" TV and are selling me a LC52"D65U for under $450 current retail value of the new TV $1900. Give them a call and see if they can work out a deal for you too. The whole transaction will take 7 - 10 days. Good Luck!
