Question about Ovens
I put my Jenn-Air stove on the clean cycle and when it started to beep 1 hour into the cyle, I hit cancle. Now the stove is perminatly locked and I can't get it to open. It is not heating. I turned it off at the circut breaker, and that did't work. I also tried to restart the cleaning and it just beeps "F5" at me. Help! How can I get the stove to unlock? My oven door is locked after a cleaning cycle of about 11 hours! The oven is cooled and the fan is still going. Also the digital display is blank.
After the lock indicator light goes out, move the door lock lever to the left. The oven door can now be opened. Turn the selector and temperature knobs from clean to off AFTER THE DOOR IS UNLOCKED. If the temperature knob is turned to off BEFORE the door is unlocked, the door will not open. Forcing the lock will damage the lock mechanism. If this should happen, return the temperature knob back to CLEAN, unlock the door, THEN turn the temperature knob off.
