Question about Dell Photo 964 All-In-One InkJet Printer
The problem was that the print options had switched to print using the color cartridge to make up for my empty black ink cartridge.
After you click on print, and then click the preferences button, next go to the Advanced tab. Once there, there should be another button that says, More options. Once that tab is opened, check the box that says, "Use black cartridge to print in black and white."
I was convinced that something was wrong with my new printer cartridge and called Dell. Unfortunately, they wouldn't or couldn't help me and I just lucked up this solution.
