Kodak Z612 digital camera turns

Kodak Z612 digital camera turns on, but all i have is a white screen. this happened when i was reviewing my pictures two days ago. recharged the battery - no good. removed battery and memory card, waited 10 minutes, reinstalled - no good. White screen persists. Flash works, lens extends, but nothing makes this white screen disappear. Have not dropped or bumped camera - no damage whatsoever. Has worked perfectly for me for two years..........is it dead? Anything I can do to fix it? Need it desperately for grandson's upcoming first Christmas. No money to replace or buy another.
